PARAMETERIZED MODELLING AND DYNAMIC ANALYZING FOR THE DRIVE AT CENTRE OF GRAVITY (DCG) FEED DRIVES

It is known that the machining quality of parts is profoundly influenced by the dynamic performance of the DCG frame which is related to its structure parameters. This paper focuses on parameterized modelling and analyzing for the DCG framework under consideration of changing design parameters. Under the assumption of the rigid bodies of the moving components and elastic contacts existing only between the slide blocks and the guide rails, the dynamic model of the DCG framework is developed. Based on the proposed dynamic model, the effects of changing parameters on the natural frequency and the dynamics response are analyzed quantiflcationally. The dynamic simulation and experiment platforms of the DCG framework are constructed. The results of the simulation and experiment are analyzed and discussed, which verify the parameterized modelling and dynamic analyzing method proposed in this paper.
